Blackline provides hope and promotes social justice for individuals, families, and communities through immediate crisis counseling and collecting information on negative police and vigilante contact in the United States of America. BlackLine combines professional staff, trained volunteers, and collaborative partnerships to create innovative responses to pressing social needs and issues through an unapologetic Black, LGBTQ, and Black Femme lens.

​Charlotte

Teen Mental Health Resource Hub provides teens with information regarding mental and physical health as well as academic wellbeing. 

NAMI Charlotte provides a list of resources for crisis support in Charlotte and surrounding areas. 

Time Out Youth is an organization dedicated to serving LGBTQ Youth ages 11 to 20 with specialized programming and serving LGBTQ Youth 18-24 with housing support, in-center resources and counseling. 

Crisis Assistance Ministry is an organization dedicated to providing services for those with limited financial resources. Services offered include emergency financial assistance and empowerment,free clothing store, and assistance with buying household appliances.

The Relatives serve as the Safe Place agency for youth in Mecklenburg County and the surrounding area, partnering with local businesses to ensure access to immediate help and supportive resources.

National

Beam is a global network of therapists that cater to the needs of Black individuals and families.

Harmony Health is a Trauma Focused, Healing  Centered and African Centered Psychology Approach to Healing.

National Resources

National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, is a source of information and statistics about suicide, suicide risk and suicide prevention. To locate information, scroll down the left-hand navigation bar on the website and click on "suicide" under the "violence" heading.

National Institute of Mental Health is a Federal research agency and its website features several publications for teens on suicide and depression.
